YFZ Ranch
A trip through time

ADMITTING THE LIE
FLDS leaders (FRONT L-R) Leroy Steed, David Allred,
Ernie Jessop and (BACK) Alan Steed came forward on
April 28, 2004 to admit their original claim that the
YFZ Ranch would be a hunting retreat was false. Instead
the men acknowledged that the ranch is actually intended
as a new settlement for members of the FLDS chruch, an
openly polygmous Mormon sect from the Utah/Arizona border.

UTAH LAWMAN COMES TO TOWN

Washington County, Utah Sheriff Kirk Smith came to Eldorado
on April 30, 2004, to update local officials, including Sheriff
David Doran (at right) on FLDS Prophet Warren Jeffs and his
sect of polygamous followers who recently purchased the YFZ Ranch
and are currently putting up a number of large buildings there.
