Latest Update 1:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, May 8, 2008

The District Court in San Angelo is preparing for the 60 day hearings for the YFZ familes that will commence at 8:30am on May 19, 2008 in the Tom Green County Courthouse.

Hearings will be going on simultaneously in 5 Courtrooms on Monday and at 4 to 5 Courtrooms thereafter until all are completed in early June. The four Tom Green County District Judges (Judge Barbara Walther, Judge Ben Woodward, Judge Thomas Gossett and Judge Jay Weatherby) will be hearing the cases with other specially assigned judges as well.

The courts have attempted to group these cases in family groups based on maternity. The regular Rules of Court will be in effect for these hearings. No cameras, cell phones, blackberries, computers or the like will be allowed in the Courtroom.

Court releases Bishop's Family Record seized during raid on YFZ Ranch. List reveals numerous men with multiple wives in several locations and "Houses of  Hiding." R17 on the list indicates YFZ Ranch near Eldorado.
