Nancy Addell Terry
1935 — 2011 Nancy Addell Terry went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her son Randy Evers and daughter Rhonda Dakin.
She is survived by her daughters Dorothy Kelsey of West Point, MS; Nancy Jenkins and Eureka Norton of San Angelo, TX; Yvonne and husband Chad Olsen of Staples, MN; son Greg Terry and daughter-in-law Isabelle Villanueva both of Eldorado, TX, and 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Nancy was born and raised in Eldorado, Texas. She loved so many people and touched so many hearts. She had a smile that completely would warm your heart. There are just so many close friends she had, that she considered family.
The Arispe family was her family by heart. Many a Christmas were spent together at Casa Arispe, she felt like home there. A special thank you to the Arispe family for making her always feel so much love.
Maria Huichapa, you were such a dear friend to her. She loved her mornings with you and cherished them dearly. She lived for Sundays, she was always up early and ready for church. Each and everyone at the Community Baptist Church made her feel so much love.
Also, everyone around her where she lived in the apartments would always stop by to say hello. Thank you so much for that. She cherished all her visits.
Nancy loved the songs sung by Randy Norton, and Rick and Jim Stricklan. Dorothy, her daughter would put their CD on, and listen to it as loud as it could go. She would sing and sing, and it made her so happy.
The family would like to thank Vista-Care for all the care going to her in her final days. All the nurses took very good care of her, and it was greatly appreciated.
Nancy’s favorite verse that she cherished dearly was, Psalms 23. She didn’t take anything with her when she went to be with the Lord, but she left behind so many wonderful memories and will be missed greatly.
Raymond Spears, Sr.
San Angelo-Raymond Spears, Sr, 54, of Eldorado, TX passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in a local hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on October 1, 1957 to Roy and Emma J. Spears.He was married to Mary Spears of Eldorado, TX.
He leaves behind his wife, Mary, son Raymond Spears, Jr of San Angelo, son Randy and wife Kelli Spears of Miles, TX, 5 grandchildren, RJ, Khamille, and Randy II all of Miles, Jordan and Skylar of San Angelo, TX, his mother Emma J. Spears of Ft Worth, TX, sister Yvonne and husband Earnest Ewings of Ft Worth, TX, and a very special aunt, Agnus, of Ozona, TX.
He attended Eldorado High School and worked in the oilfield for many years. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and spending as much time with his grandchildren as he could.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff in ICU at Community Hospital and staff at Angelo Kidney Connection as well as all the doctors involved.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at St Luke Baptist Church in Eldorado.
Tommye Johnson
Tommye Johnson, 85, of Goldsmith, TX passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Odessa. Tommye was born October 6, 1926 in San Angelo, TX. She was raised in Eldorado, TX and graduated from Eldorado High School in 1944. While working at Foxworth-Galbreath Lumber Co in Eldorado, Tommye met the love of her life, Grover Lee Johnson. They were married September 20, 1947. Grover’s work took them to numerous West Texas towns for the next several years; in 1964 they settled in Goldsmith. Grover and Tommye were constant companions for over 64 years.

Max Weldon Kennick
Max Weldon Kennick 4 year old son of John and Jana Lyn Kennick, and great grandson of Ruth Davis and the late Weldon Davis of Eldorado, passed away Nov. 6th of 2011 in Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.
Max and his triplet sisters, Maci and Molli were born March 14th of 2007 in Austin. Max touched the hearts of many people in his short life, despite his challenging medical history.
He is survived by his parents, brothers, Reece and Ryan, and his triplet sisters. Grandparents are George and Shirley Kennick and great grandmother, Sena Wilste of Bonners’ Ferry, Idaho, Charlie and Jacque Wilson and great grandmother Opal Wilson, of Pearsall, Tx and Ruth Davis of Eldorado and several uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends.
Services were Nov. 10th 2011 at First Baptist Church of Taylor, Tx.
John L. (Jack) Neill, Jr. aka: El Vagamundo 1925 - 2011
On April 15, 2011, after a long illness, John Lawrence (Jack) Neill died with his family at his side in Jacksonville, FL. Jack was born on a small farm outside of Eldorado, Texas on December 30th, 1925. His family was early settlers of the State of Texas, and it is well noted that Jack’s great-great uncle, James Clinton Neill, commanded the Alamo before Travis relieved him. He escaped Travis’ fate and helped win Texas independence from Mexico in the Battle of San Jacinto.
Herbert Alvin Fuessel 1927 — 2011
SAN ANGELO — Herbert Alvin Fuessel, child of God, husband, father, grandpa, gg’pa, finished his journey here, sitting in his recliner he entered into the glories of heaven, his final destination.
Herbert, 84 years old, was born April 8, 1927, in Sandoval, Texas, to Ludwig and Lena Meier Fuessel, the fourth of five children. He attended schools in Mereta and Eola, Texas.
Herbert went into the armed services from August 1945 until March 1947, serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps, communications division, during the occupation of Europe, spending most of his time in Italy.
Upon his return from the military, Herbert continued his life as a farmer, first as a share-cropper and then, two farmers wanting to retire asked him to purchase their farms. He farmed in the Wall area for many years, raising livestock, cotton and maize, later subdividing his farms for housing.
