Eldorado, TX.- Jeanne went to be with the Lord June 6, 2013 at the age of 73.  She was born to Eduardo and Romana Robledo on February 20, 1940, in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico.  She was the eldest of ten children, therefore, she learned at a young age the importance and significance of family values. At the age of 16 she married the love of her life Mariano Gonzalez, on July 12, 1957 and had a lasting marriage of 46 years. Together they raised a family of 4 children, eventually making Eldorado their home.

For many years Jeanne enjoyed being a stay at home housewife. Together they started their life in Muzquiz, later in 1964 they came to Eldorado to Otto Williams Ranch. Shortly there after they relocated in Sonora, Batesville, Uvalde, and finally returned to Eldorado in 1977. Years later she worked for Madolyn Mertz and Jo Ann Sproul. Jeanne’s most enjoyable job was having the opportunity to care, love and play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  For a short time she was able to work for Fr. Joseph at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she was an active member.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband, Mariano Gonzalez, two infants, her parents, and siblings Luis Robledo and Dora Amalia Martinez.

She is survived by her children Enrique Gonzalez and wife Mary Ann, Lidia Vallejo and husband Emilio, Raul Gonzalez and wife Araceli, all of Eldorado, and Guillermo Gonzalez of Jarrell, TX. Jeanne is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and 3 brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Quisto Gonzalez, Emilio “Milo” Vallejo, Rolando Gonzalez, Roman Gonzalez, Kevan Covarrubiaz, Roberto Gonzalez, Arnulfo Gonzalez, and Armando Gonzalez.

Your mission has been completed; your spirit has been set free.  The heavens welcome your exhausted soul and we, who mourn, go forward sharing your guidance and teachings you instilled in each one of us.

The family wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to her dear friends that kept her life interesting and joyful.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church burial following at Eldorado Cemetery.
