ELDORADO -- Christy Lou-Ella Robinson Arendt, 38, was born on December 31, 1975 in Eldorado, and went to be with Jesus on Saturday, January 25, 2014.
Christy first and foremost was wife to Cody Arendt for 18 years, and mother to Clayton,16, Colton, 13, and Cassidy 9, all of Eldorado. She was the daughter of Betty and Edward Robinson, and loved like a daughter by Barbara and Bud Arendt. She is also survived by brothers Gary Robinson and James Robinson and his wife Tonya, and Katelyn, nephews Kendall Robinson, Justin Robinson and his wife Kayla and son Lathen, special cousin Kerry Robinson and wife Vickie, special people in her life were Hoston Hanna, and Chasity Willis and son Zay and April Robinson.
Christy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eldorado and devoted to her Lord and Savior. She was true to her calling and was a RN-BSN at Community Hospital, working in pediactrics for 14 years. She also worked as a substitute nurse for SCISD when scheduling permitted.
She was her children's number one fan, yelling the loudest and forever being their biggest supporter. You would be challenged to find a more devoted, proud and selfless mother. She was an amazing champion and fighter for anyone that needed someone on their side. Her spirit,strength, character and passion was admired, loved and cherished by all who knew her. Boat races, camping, rodeos, stock shows, and taking the kids to Sea World were things she loved the most.
Family visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 7:00p.m. at Kerbow Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at First Baptist Church Eldorado, with burial to follow in Eldorado Cemetery. After the services, there will be a time of coming together for fellowship in Fellowship Hall of FBC.
