Geraldine Turley Holley, age 86 died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on September 30, 2021.

Jerre was born on June 24, 1935 in Stephenville, Texas to George Henry and Mary Edith Turley.

She grew up in Bluffdale, Texas where she met the love of her life, Jim Holley. They married on February 9, 1953. They made their home in Eldorado for over 60 years. They had three children, seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Jerre’s family was her top priority, as she had a huge influence on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives. She was at every game and event held as their number one supporter.

She thoroughly enjoyed reading, and was an exceptional seamstress and baker. Jerre was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Eldorado and Martha’s Angels. She spent many hours helping and preparing meals for Soul Food and Meals on Wheels. Jerre was passionate about her spiritual journey, and always enjoyed Joy Group which was held in her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Etta, brother Buster, husband Jim, and daughter June.
Jerre is survived by sons James Mack (Karan), Jay Ray (Julie), sons-in-law Buff (Dawn), William Ferguson. Grandchildren include Holley (Cheryl), Cody (Christy), Mikinzie (Scotty), Maxie (Collin), Tara (Justin), Mack (Megan), Jason (Susannah). Great-grandchildren Hudson, Wiley, Laney, Josalin, Kourtney, Sterling, Channing, Holden, Hayes, Tripp, Lucy, Cooper, Lyla, Beau, Jack, Kate, Austin, Blaine, Seth. Special friends Cathy Niblett, Cherie and Mike Sproul, Damien and Geralyn Beach.

A memorial service will be held on October 23, 2021 at 10:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Eldorado.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Hospice of San Angelo staff and to Cheryl Amos. Our Gran was truly blessed.
