John Anthony Cantu, 21, of Dilley, Texas, was taken by EMS ambulance to Schleicher County Medical Center on Monday, February 20th, following a truck rollover on FM 2129, approximately six miles southwest of Eldorado. 
Two people were arrested Saturday on drug charges after a Reagan County deputy discovered the pair parked on the side of the road in a Chevy Trailblazer west of Big Lake.

John Thuesen, the man convicted of murdering Travis and Rachel Joiner in 2009, will get a new hearing. That word came down last week after the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the highest state court in criminal matters, granted his appeal. 
The Lady Eagles played well and kept the game close for awhile before falling to the Haskell Maidens 46-30 in the Bi-District playoff game held Monday night in Coleman.
