Durward Leon Rutland passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 in San Angelo, Texas. He was born September 26, 1932 and lived in Eldorado, Texas. His parents were Durward and Irene Rutland. He graduated from Eldorado High School in 1951. Later he completed his undergraduate work at Howard Payne (1955) and subsequently received his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Hardin Simmons University (1967).

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 6, 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Eldorado Cemetery.
