Brian was born in Dallas on July 6, 1966. Brian attended school in Eldorado with his number of siblings where he was an athlete and a scholar. Brian never met a challenge he could not overcome and exceled at any task he put his hand to from remodeling a kitchen to sowing a cotton field. Brian attended Sul Ross State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in 2002. He used his education to pursue his passion of coaching young people. Brian was a beloved coach in Monahans, Miles, Eldorado and Christoval where he motivated his students and instilled in them his relentless work ethic.

In life Brian loved fiercely. Friends became family around a grill on a sunny afternoon. Brian loved fishing and outdoor activities, especially with his precious grandchildren. Loving people without condition, helping those in need, and an unwavering faith will be his legacy. In his work organizing benefits for community members in need his message was the same “tell your people you love them every day”.
