Henry Lee Stutes Sr., 72, of Eldorado, Texas went to meet his heavenly Father on June 20, 2016.
Henry was born in Jennings, Louisiana on December 3, 1943.
He is preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Mary Stutes and a son Henry (Hank) Stutes. Henry is survived by his wife Linda Stutes: his children Steve Stutes of Hamshire, Texas, Henry Stutes Jr. and wife April of Hamshire, Texas, David Stutes Sr. and wife Renee of Clear Lake, Texas, Shelly Self and husband Will of Eldorado, Texas, and James Luckie and wife Laney of Beaumont, Texas: 17 grandchildren Shelby, Mason, Cameron, Clayton, Abi, Nick, David Jr., Stefan, Tyler, Alexis, Jordan, Brianna, Rylea, Patrick, Josiah, Esther, and Priscilla: 2 sisters Shirley Bertrand of Winnie, Texas and Linda Kramer and husband Gary of Crystal Beach, Texas: Uncle and Aunts Enos and Lovinia Thibodeaux of Winnie, Texas, Wilda Thibodeaux of Winnie, Texas, Laura Thibodeaux of Crowley, Louisiana and Elday Thibodeaux of Morse, Louisiana; also numerous cousins and friends.
Henry was a welder in the Houston area and upon retiring moved to Eldorado, Texas.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Eldorado where he enjoyed church activities and visiting with his friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 30th at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church. Graveside service will be in Mermentau, Louisiana.
