Henry Walter Speck, III, 70, of Graford, Texas passed away peacefully at home on April 17, 2023. Walter was born on February 6, 1953, to Henry Walter Speck, Jr. and Joyce Ann (Van Horn) Speck in San Angelo, Texas.
Walter graduated from Eldorado High School in 1971 and attended Angelo State University where, in 1972 he met the love of his life, Toye Hoppe and they married on August 11, 1973. Together they raised two children and three grandchildren.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Walter Speck, Jr. and Joyce Ann Speck, and his beloved wife Toye Speck.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Sean Eschberger, son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Melissa Speck, and three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ben Eschberger and Nathan Speck. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Rick Hansen and Barbara and Gary Warnock, as well as a nephew and niece, David Hansen and Lori Hansen.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 8, 20234, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
