James (Jimmy) Lee Taylor age 57, passed away peacefully on May 16th, 2023, at BayIor Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. His family celebrated his life of 57 years on Saturday May 20th, 2023, at Johnson’s Funeral Home San Angelo, Texas.
Jimmy was born on December 21st, 1965, in Fort Hood, Texas to Bobby and Louise (Holmes) Taylor. He was a 1985 graduate of Goddard High School in Roswell, N.M. He married Kimberly Ann (Alvarez) on May 23, 1987, in Shallowater, Texas.
Jimmy and Kim settled in Eldorado, Texas and raised their three sons there. Jimmy truly loved life, even after his Liver and Kidney transplant in 2019. He never lost the sparkle in his beautiful blue eyes and his smile never faded. He fought and lived his life the best he could.
Jimmy loved cooking, riding motorcycles, playing with his grandkids but most of all just being with Kim the love of his life. Jimmy lit the room up when he walked in, a stranger was an instant friend.
He is survived by his wife Kim, three sons, Kyle (Star) Taylor, Joshua (Brittany) Taylor, Zachary (Jacqueline) Taylor. Grandchildren Canella, Kyla, Tristen, Eli, Auror, and Xavier. Two sisters, Athena of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kim of Lubbock, Texas. He was loved by his numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, sister Sandy and brother Bobby.
