Civil engineer Tom Brown had bad news for the Eldorado City Council Monday night as he told them that lead-based paint on the city’s ground storage water tank would likely make it cost prohibitive to continue with their plans to paint the structure. It was noted that coating on the inside of the tank contains no lead and is no danger to the public.
