Pamela Lynn Whitten, age 46, of Cedar Park, went to be with the Lord on September 18 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Pamela was born October 28, 1974 to Pete and Gail Whitten. Losing her parents shortly after birth, she was raised by her grandparents Larry and Nadine Bell. Being raised with her uncles Dale, Alan and aunt Lori she never lacked for love and attention some would say even she was spoiled.

She graduated from Eldorado High School in 1993 where she exceled in band and the flag corp. After graduation, she moved to San Angelo and started a career as an apartment leasing agent.

She was very much a people person and with her gift of gab, she was a favorite of all of the residents, enabling her to move around the state and always find work. In 2006 she finally found her soul mate in Doug Weigand, who was by her side to the very end.

Pamela is survived by her husband Doug Weigand and his sons Grant and Anthony Weigand; her aunt Lori with husband Bill Dykstra and their son Alan, wife Sheena and their children Makenna, Ryder and Jake. Their youngest son Kevin with wife Lynsey, her uncle Dale Storie and wife Sharon and their sons Chad and Chase, her uncle Jimmie Whitten with wife Betty, her uncle David Whitten with wife Betty Ann, her uncle Gary Whitten and wife Judy Ann, her uncle Jake Whitten and wife Helen, as well as many cousins. Also, lifelong friends Victor Belman and David Massengill and many other friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Gail Whitten, grandparents Larry and Nadine Bell, grandparents Chan and Margret Whitten, uncle Alan Storie and aunt Elaine Whitten.

There will be a memorial service for Pamela, October 2, 2021 at the First United Methodist church of Eldorado, at 2:00 pm, with a reception following in the fellowship hall. The burial will be at a later date in the Eldorado Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Cancer Society or charity of your choice would be a great memorial for Pamela.
