Our loving mother, Teresa C Martinez, 85 of Eldorado passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 19th, 2023.
Teresa was born on May 5, 1938 to Mr. Gavino and Mrs. Eulalia Castro in Schleicher County. Teresa married her beloved husband Eusebio V. Martinez. She was a homemaker to Eusebio and their children.
Mom was a loving and caring humble person and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed cooking for her family especially during the holidays, and making her homemade tortillas. She also enjoyed baking, especially during Halloween, making her homemade cupcakes from scratch and popcorn balls for all the children and their parents. Mom loved and had a good hand with plants and flowers.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Gavino and Eulalia Castro, husband Eusebio Martinez, daughter Gloria and son Alvaro Rojas, Jr.
Teresa is survived by her daughters Gloria Rojas, Christina Rojas, Rosemary Factor, and son Gene Rojas and wife Juana, and daughter-in-law Violetta Rojas; grandchildren Isaias Vasquez, Teresa Vasquez and Edgar, Gene Rojas Jr.,Gavino Rojas and Natasha, Alvaro Rojas II and Glaicy, Jennifer Rojas, Shelsea Rojas; great-grandchildren Jasmine and Cesar Rangel, Nadia Rojas, Priscilla Rojas, Zachary Rojas, Nickolas Rojas, Yssenia and CJ Knutson, Yasmin Ramirez, Emily Diaz, Richard Rojas and Hope Rojas; great-great-grandchildren, Itzel, Luke, Aria, Mateo and Sofia; siblings, Juanita Buitron, Mary Spears, Carolina and Richard Mendez.
Viewing will be held at Love Funeral Home 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday-Wednesday. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 25th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Eldorado Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Isaias Vasquez, Gene Rojas, Teresa Vasquez, Yasmin Ramirez, Gavino Rojas and Alvaro Rojas II.
