Children in need are being blessed this Christmas season through the Samaritan’s Purse project, Operation Christmas Child.

Angelo State University has again earned national recognition from several organizations for excellence in education and related services that significantly contribute to the academic success of veteran and military students and their families.

Bill Nikolauk is a big reason why two of Angelo State’s athletics facilities have such long names. A native of nearby Eldorado, Nikolauk is president/CEO of 1st Community Federal Credit Union and has spearheaded the credit union’s incredible support for ASU athletics since 1987.

For the second straight year, Angelo State University has set a new record for fall enrollment, topping 11,500 students for the first time.

The Angelo State University Symphony Orchestra will present its first concert of the fall season on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church at 32 N. Irving St. in downtown San Angelo.

The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts presents The Plein Air Landscape: Selections from the Permanent Collection, a new exhibition that will be open to the public from October 18, 2024 to February 23, 2025.
