The Eldorado Eagles baseball team swept the McCamey Badgers in a home-and-home series that began in Eldorado on Friday, March 29th and concluded in McCamey on Monday, April 1st.
The Eldorado Eagles defeated the Reagan County Owls in both ends of a home-and-home series on Friday of last week and Tuesday of this week as they continued their run through the District 5-2A schedule. They won 7-0 at Eagle Field on Friday, March 22nd then traveled to Big Lake where they defeated the Owls 11-2 on Tuesday, March 26h.
Eldorado High School varsity girls track and field athletes competed in the 65th Annual San Angelo Relays on Friday March 22 and Saturday, March 23rd. In all, there were 76 schools at the event, ranging in size from 1A-6A, making it the largest track meet in Texas.
EHS boys competed at 2024 Sterling City Relays on March 19th. The varsity boys placed first with a score of 129. The varsity girls did not compete. Meanwhile, the girls JV team placed first with a score of 88. The JV boys placed second with 124 points. Individual results follow below.

Alejandra Alegria, Nyomi Aranda and Mari Cruz Esparza each claimed a medal in their respective events as they led the Eldorado Lady Eagles powerlifting team to its second straight Texas High School Womens Powerlifting Association 1A-2A State Championship on March 13th in Frisco.
The Eldorado Eagles baseball traveled to Van Horn twice and outscored a pair of District 5-2A opponents 45-4 in three games. The Eagles downed the Van Horn Eagles 20-0 on their home field on February 8th. The 45-4 margin over three games might have been even more lopsided, but Van Horn forfeited the second game of a scheduled double header.

Eldorado Middle School track teams competed in Ozona on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. The eighth grade girls squad placed third as a team while the seventh grade boys, seventh grade girls, and the eighth grade boys teams each placed fourth.
The Eldorado Lady Eagles varsity powerlifting team placed first overall with 38 points at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association 1A-2A Region 1 Division 3 Champions in Colorado City on Friday, March 1st. Coach Chris Castleman was also recognized and received a plaque acknowledging him as the winning coach in 1A-2A.
